Kiah Foenander

Kiah Foenander is a Brisbane-based author with a passion for storytelling that started in childhood. From creating intricate storylines while playing with dolls to imagining entire movies and music videos in her head, she has always had a vivid imagination.

Kiah writes dark comedic romance, blending love, spice, and humour with a realistic touch. She believes that love isn't always bright and perfect, making dark romance the ideal way to explore the complexities of relationships while still keeping it fun and fictional.

Scratched Surface, her debut, stayed with her for six months before she finally opened a Word document and brought it to life. Its sequel, Exposed Surface, continues the Apricity Series.

When she's not writing, Kiah is a stay-at-home mum and wife, spending her days with her two daughters, her husband, and their dog. She enjoys watching movies, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and, of course, scrolling through TikTok.
